I've fallen off the proverbial horse and it's time to dust myself off and get back in the saddle. It’s cringeworthy that I haven’t created anything since February. With a third of 2017 nearly in the books, I need to make up some lost creative time.
Starting May 1, I'm embarking on a 30 Day Creative Challenge. I'm shunning procrastination and banishing all excuses to spend overdue quality time with my canvases, brushes, paints, marbling inks, rice papers, stamps and all other art supplies I’ve ignored.
My friend Sheena, the talent behind Indigo Pony handmade jewelry, and I have committed to take on this challenge together. We’re each venturing to produce 30 works in 30 days. We’ll be holding each other accountable ($5 in a pot for a missed day), but more importantly, we’ll be continuing our support of each other’s creative journeys.
I invite you to follow our progress on Instagram - @jenhud.art and @indigoponynyc.
