WHAT'S YOUR AVAILABITY TO WORK ON A COMMISSION? My availability changes regularly depending on the season, and I only take on a handful of commissions per year. The process of working together can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. The best way to find out my availability is to inquire below.
DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS OUTSIDE OF DC? Yes! I regularly work with clients who live in different cities. Receiving photos of your space and dimensions help inform my creative process.
WHAT IS THE COST OF A COMMISSION? Pricing varies depending on the size and number of pieces, framing, shipping, and my availability. Commissioned artwork is an investment that typically costs somewhat more than a piece I've already created. After we connect, you’ll receive a custom proposal that outlines your total investment. A 50% initial investment is required to start the project.
WHAT MEDIUMS/STYLES DO YOU WORK IN? I’m an abstract artist. I work with water-based acrylic paints, oil paints, and mixed media on several surfaces, primarily canvas, paper, and wood. I am not the right artist for you if you’re looking for a portrait or realistic landscape.

MY Latest Commission
My client had a desire to add a striking statement piece to her living room. She envisioned a geometric abstract painting with a bold color palette consisting of gray, red, yellow, and white. To bring her vision to life, I first studied pictures of her home, drawing inspiration from its unique style and ambiance. With this inspiration in mind, I presented my client with a series of sketches to explore different design directions.
Through our collaborative process, we narrowed down the options and settled on a concept that truly spoke to her soul. To ensure her satisfaction, I created mini mockups of the artwork, incorporating her valuable feedback after each iteration. Once we agreed on the final design, I brought her piece to life on canvas, infusing it with creativity and precision.
To keep her involved in the process, I regularly shared progress photos, allowing her to provide further input and adjustments. The end result was a captivating piece that not only fulfilled her vision but also has become a conversation starter in her living room — a true source of joy and satisfaction for her.
